We currently have a couple of new initiatives for start-up businesses less than 2 years old. We have the UK Steel Start-Up grant available which is a maximum grant of £1,000 for eligible items. The applicants would also have to match fund their items(for example if they applied for an item worth £1000, we would only fund £500). They can apply for multiple items. We are also launching our monthly Start-Up Enterprise Club for individuals starting a new business or have commenced trading within the last 2 years in Swansea. The first session is titled ‘Launch your business using Social Media’ and will be delivered by Social Media Expert Rebecca Wade from Purple Dog. This virtual event will take place on 8th July 2021 at 10:00am. If you know any new businesses who’d like to attend they can click HERE to register.
We will also be holding a monthly business support hour for established Swansea businesses where we will have a local business expert attend every month to cover a range of different current hot topics for businesses. Details should be included in our next newsletter.
