Business Grants for the Retail, Leisure and Hospitality sector – register your interest now!
Good news – Welsh Government have confirmed cash grants will soon be made available to those businesses in the retail, leisure and hospitality industry. These grants will be administered by Swansea Council’s Business Rates section. You can check your eligibility and register interest here:https://www.swansea.gov.uk/coronavirusbusinessgrant
Business Rates Relief:
Our Business Rates section are busy issuing new rates bills to businesses who qualify for a discount or exemption. You do not need to do anything. If your business qualifies, you will automatically receive a new rates bill. More details here: https://www.swansea.gov.uk/covid19adviceforbusinesses
Measuring the impact of COVID and reporting back to Welsh Government:
We are working closely with our colleagues in Economic Development to monitor the impact of Covid on local businesses. In order to do this, we are logging all business enquiries we receive in regards to the coronavirus pandemic and the effect it’s having on the local economy, which we feed back to Welsh Government on a weekly basis.
